The ICCA Congress 2028 in San Francisco welcomes participants from across the global arbitration community.
We recognize the importance of global representation in international arbitration and will provide information and practical support to help delegates plan their travel to the United States.

Travel and visa support
With the support of ICCA leadership, the Host Committee will provide visa preparation and travel planning support for delegates from around the world.
Delegates requiring visa or travel assistance are encouraged to let us know on the Congress pre-registration form so we can provide the best support.

Register early
Pre-registration opens more than one year in advance to allow time for visa processing and travel arrangements. An official invitation letter can be provided to support your visa application.

Delegates traveling to the United States may require a visa depending on their nationality. Participants are encouraged to review visa requirements and begin the application process early.
Please note that visa decisions are made solely by the relevant embassy or consulate. Congress organizers cannot guarantee visa approval.

Delegates applying for visas will typically schedule an interview at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Go to the link below for locations of all the U.S embassies and consulates worldwide.

Visa application appointment wait times can vary. Ensure you register early to allow for processing. More information can be found on the U.S Department of State website.
DOCUMENTATION REQUEST
Invitation letter
Registered delegates who require documentation to support a visa application may request an official ICCA Congress invitation letter. Invitation letters will confirm participation in the Congress and provide event details for visa application purposes.
